Elementary Music Classes - Ongoing enrollment

Registration/Payment - register by phone at 207-967-9120 or at the front desk with your payment before the deadline. In either case, payment by check or credit card is required to hold your place in a class or workshop. Deadline: Please register no later than one week prior to the first meeting of the class. All classes have minimum and maximum enrollment requirements, so early registration will improve the chances of a class running or filling up without you! As always, please let us know if you need partial or full scholarship assistance. We are located in Lower Village, 35 Western Avenue, Kennebunk.

Peter Pan

February 21-24, 9-2pm, $175.
Beak a leg during February Vacation! The beloved play, Peter Pan, will be the focus of our theatre camp. Using theatre & improvisational games to warm up, students will create a safe & inviting space to perform. Throughout the week, actors will be busy learning lines, creating costumes and sets for an end of the week live performance. No experience needed! Come enjoy a week on the stage with River Tree Arts. Performance will be 2:00pm, Friday, 2/24. Friends & family are invited.

Rock Band
Fridays, 3:30-5pm- ongoing enrollment, $55 per month
Elementary (grades 4 & 5)
Bring your instrument of choice & work together to form your own rock band in
this fun multi-age class. Learn a new set list each session, which ends with a
band performance at the last class.
Prior lessons/music classes required (contact us for details).

River Glee
Wednesdays, 3:30-5pm, $85
In the spirit of the "Glee" television program, this class will incorporate singing, dancing, acting and theater games. Students will learn basic acting and vocal techniques as well as simple choreography. Class time will include learning songs from pop music as well as tunes from famous Broadway musicals. This pressure-free class will allow participants to explore theater through age appropriate acting games. The class will culminate in a fantastic show for family and friends. Students will use popular songs for inspiration. Fr om Taylor Swift to the Go-Go's, upcoming singers, songwriters & performers will learn to play rhythm and work as a band. Guitars available to rent.
