The Basics
 Frames must look professional
 Frames will not fall apart when hung
 Frames are pre wired in the back
 Your artwork is ready to be hung as is
 River Tree Arts reserves the right to not hang artwork if any of the above
requirements are not met, even if the artwork has been juried into the show.

Artwork:
ALL artwork must be original
ALL 2-dimensional art must be framed and wired
NO copies of other artists’ work will be accepted
NO reproductions (prints or giclees) NO wet paintings

Size and framing:
Maximum size: 40”W x 60” H (including frame: entire piece must be within
these dimensions)
Wire should be secured 1/4 to 1/3 down from top of piece.
Matted work (w/c, pastels, drawings) must be framed with glass or plexiglass.
Gallery wrapped canvas: deep profile stretcher, strapped on back with clean or
painted sides

Acceptable hardware for wood frames:
Screw eyes
C-rings
Acceptable Metal Frames
Hardware that screws secure in track
Frames that are not acceptable
