Isaac Chittenden, Musician

Isaac grew up in Blue Hill, Maine, and started playing violin using the Suzuki method at the age of 7. He went on to study classical violin under the mentorship of Anatole Wieck at the University of Maine at Orono and graduated in 2006.

Isaac is also well versed in traditional fiddling styles including Celtic, Appalachian, bluegrass, and jazz. He has played with various groups including Upriver Reel, University of Maine String Quartet, A Storied Landscape Series Collaboration, Westphalia Wattz Trio, and various singer songwriters.

Isaac has been teaching music since University and is passionate about bringing out the music inside of people.
