Employment & Volunteer Opportunities

** Ongoing VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES**

All of our volunteer opportunities are on-going and are flexible with your availability.

We train our volunteers and have great benefits for your time here at River Tree Center for
the Arts.  Come join our core of volunteers and tap into the community of artists,
musicians and guests!

·        Front Desk Greeter/Gallery Docent:  Our most important and needed position is
being front and center at our welcome desk!
This volunteer opportunity includes welcoming our visitors to the Irvine Gallery of Art, discussing the art on display,
selling RTCA merchandise, and encouraging the return visit of our guests.
Other duties may include stuffing envelopes, mailings and answering the phone if necessary.
Must be outgoing, enjoy the arts or are interested in learning more, enjoy the office atmosphere,
and be flexible.  We encourage all availabilities and ages 17 and older. Shifts needed are
Monday through Friday 10am - 1pm and 1pm - 4pm daily.

·        Help with Mailings: Do you enjoy stuffing envelopes and pasting labels?
If so, this is a perfect volunteer opportunity for you!
Be part of a team who can come
into the office on occasion and help with bulk mailings throughout the year.
This opportunity is between 2 and 4 hours and we would call upon you according to
our mailing schedule.  This is a perfect way to meet new people and provide a valuable service.

·        Fiddle Contest Event Volunteers:  Do you enjoy music?  Do you enjoy the bluegrass, slap-your-knee-and-dance-the-day-away kind of music?  This event is going to be
one heck of a party and we need volunteers to help staff the event:  concessions,
ticket sellers, set-up and clean-up, and registration.
This is a one-time event and would ask for about 4 hours of your time.

·

·      Find It and Fix-It:  Do you like to do odd jobs around the house? Are you technology savvy?
Do you like the hands-on, physical work?  We need your help!
These jobs include electrical help, information technology, recycling, painting,
fixing the wear-n-tear that happens regularly, etc
.
